heat wave

I don’t want to be one of those people that relies on air conditioning.  In fact, I love the feel of the air through an open window on a balmy summer night; just a little sticky but comfortable every time a light breeze comes through.

Unfortunately, “you don’t know what you’ve got ’til its gone” has never felt more true than it does on this 90+ degree night now that the power is out.  I must say that I do love the bonding of neighbors during times of distress.  It brings people together in a way that normal, day to day just doesn’t.  I really like that.

SO – Chipwiches all around.  We can’t let the ice cream go to waste, after all.
